Joyful, Spring-Forward Wedding Flowers

The reasons why designing Hannah and Grayson’s wedding flowers was an amazing experience are threefold: A) we love color, B) we love spring flowers, and C) working with colorful spring flowers amounts to the sweetest affirmation that we’re on the right path. Here’s what went into these joy-inducing florals…

THE BOUQUET

Punch-pink gerbera daisies were the undeniable stars of Hannah’s bridal bouquet. We placed them a little off-center to achieve a more dynamic focal point, and filled things out with a whole lot of garden and spray roses. As for all those dainty little blooms doing the ethereal mostest, there was quite the plethora. The tiny white flowers with the yellow centers? Feverfew. The silky sepia-tone guys? Butterfly ranunculus. Then there were the bellflowers and pure-imagination-esque daffodils. And finally, lace-like asparagus ferns to pull it all together.

THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION

The day’s flowers were an expansion of Hannah’s bouquet concept: exuberantly bright and bursting with delight. For the ceremony pedestals, we dialed up the blushing ranunculus and threw in a few something-blue delphiniums. And for the following reception, we lined the tables with carnations then flanked them with micro Wonderland gardens. Needless to say, we were in a very good mood by the end of the setup.
