1. You share your vision. Palette, vibe, special requests…
We always start with a conversation so we can get to know you as a couple, and gather a sense of what's most important to each of you. Then we recommend you craft a mood board—think Instagram Saved collection or a Pinterest board. Tip: Think beyond specific flower varieties. Though we source flowers from all over the world, we still have to work with the seasons and the fact that we’re operating from a tiny tropical island. So as you pull your aesthetic together, think more about capturing a broad overall feel than replicating any arrangements exactly. Tip: If you like an arrangement but would prefer it in different colors, you can still include it! Just be sure to let us know what your palette is.
2. We get to work on your custom floral plan.
We’ll send a mood board back to you! Ours will look somewhat similar to what you’ve sent us, but we’ll home in on cohesion, suggesting the flowers we’re thinking of using and sharing a few more inspo photos. It’s a small but important step to ensure we totally understand your vision—so you can feel completely confident to hand the task over to us.
3. We source exquisite blooms from Maui and the world over.
AKA: the fun part. We get in touch with local growers to see what they have in season and work with suppliers to bring in what we can’t find on-island. Nothing excites us more than trying new flower varieties, because no two Floralette weddings are alike! That said, we have a few mainstays we turn to again and again because a) they’re gorgeous and interesting, and b) we know they’ll hold up well in our tropical environment. But that’s for us to think about. You’ll never have to worry about getting too specific with varieties, but if there are any particular flowers you love, here’s where we do our best to secure your most desired blooms.
4. Your wedding flowers are unveiled!
…And the party begins. You’ll be busy having the best day of your life. So if you have a planner, we’ll coordinate delivery times with them directly so you don’t have to track any moving pieces. But you might see us around the venue, getting everything set up and looking perfect before your guests arrive—and if you do, you’ll probably notice that we’re loving every second. That’s because designing your dream flowers is our dream job.
